I run a business and got tired of the admin getting in the way.

I'm Louis Lanaway. I run an electrical firm in Folkestone, Lanaway Electrical, and I build business systems and marketing for other businesses alongside it. Most of it starts with a problem I met first hand: paperwork that takes too long, quotes that sit waiting, enquiries that turn up in the middle of a job.

So the work is practical. I look at how a business actually runs before I design anything, fix the thing that is costing money or time, and connect it to what is already there rather than adding another screen to check.

What I show here is proved inside my own firm first. The website, the assistant that answers in the evening, the quote pages and the system that runs the jobs and the money are all in use at Lanaway Electrical before any client is asked to trust them.

Some of what I build is already running in real businesses. Some is still being tested. I would rather be clear about the difference, and say plainly when something is not worth building.
